JW Hinks runs Tough Mudder for Birmingham Mind02/09/2021
The team at JW Hinks has agreed to swap the office for the assault course this month, running a Tough Mudder on behalf of Birmingham Mind.
Birmingham Mind provides vital mental health services to adults in the Midlands, and currently supports more than 4000 people suffering from mental distress. At JW Hinks, we take mental health very seriously, and recognise the enormous strain many people across the nation have been put under over the last eighteen months. We are proud to do our part in supporting a charity that has been at the forefront of safeguarding mental health since 1962.
We will attempt to complete the Classic Tough Mudder course at Cholmondeley Castle on Saturday 4th September. This is a ten-mile course covered in mud that comprises of up-to 25 physically and mentally challenging obstacles. It’s a first-try for everyone involved, and we want to congratulate the whole team for being willing to try something so brave in support of such a worthy cause.
Statistics show that one in four of us will experience a mental health problem at some point in our lives. If you want to help but think a Tough Mudder run might be too much for you, there are other ways to contribute, such as sponsoring our team this Saturday.
With just a few days left to go, you still have time to make a difference… go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/JWHinksLLP and pledge whatever you can to keep minds in the midlands healthy.
JW Hinks is proud to work with local charities making a difference in our community.
