Birmingham-based chartered accountants JW Hinks have appointed a new Audit Manager following an internal promotion.
Former Audit Senior James Cruse has been promoted to Manager following 9 years with the Edgbaston firm.
James joined the firm in December 2003 as an Audit Junior after two and a half years at fellow Birmingham practice Harnick & Co.
He gained his ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification in 2006 and became and Audit Senior in 2007.
In 2011 he gained FCCA status.
James specialises in the audit of companies, pension schemes, charities and solicitors, in addition to accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and audit exempt companies.
Managing Partner Paul Jones said: “James has been with the firm for nearly a decade now and has made a significant contribution to the firm’s development.
“We are delighted to have been able to promote James to a managerial role in our audit department, particularly in the light of his extensive experience and expertise in this particular sector.
“This move will further strengthen our position as one of the leading accountancy firms in the West Midlands.”
