Chartered accountants JW Hinks have merged with fellow Birmingham-based chartered accountants Austral Ryley to create one of the largest independent firms in the West Midlands.
Bearwood-based Austral Ryley was established in 1932 and serves many clients in the local community and services businesses across many sectors.

He said: “We’re pleased to have concluded this merger with such a strong firm of independent accountants who share our philosophy of providing the best possible service in a friendly and efficient manner.

Gary said: “The merger with JW Hinks will bring significant benefits to our clients, existing and potential, offering all the advantages of a mid-tier firm with the outstanding customer service of an independent firm.
“We have known the partners at JW Hinks for many years and know that our firms have a similar culture and ethos of providing our clients with the best possible accountancy and audit advice and services. The combined firm will be able to add value to its clients businesses as a result of the merger.
Paul added: “Following the mergers with Austral Ryley and Mason Law, we are proving that JW Hinks has a vision to improve and enhance our offering to both our existing and future clients.
“Future expansion is definitely in the pipeline in order to maintain and enhance our position as a leading independent practice in Birmingham and the West Midlands.”
