Accountants from JW Hinks LLP are celebrating having raised money and set some of the fastest times during the Morrisons Great Birmingham run.
The two teams, one male and one female, both recorded the fastest team times in the Small Business category of the runs Business Challenge, which pits Birmingham businesses against one another.
JW Hinks male team made up of five of the firm’s accountants managed to complete the 13-mile half marathon in 6 hours, 24 minutes and 11 seconds, whilst the firm’s female team consisting of six staff members completed the event in 9 hours, 15 minutes and 10 seconds.
These were the two fastest results amongst the small businesses that took part making the Edgbaston-based firm the overall winner of the category.
The two teams took part in the event to raise money for the practices charity of the year, St Basils, an organisation that helps young homeless people in the West Midlands.
