Birmingham-based chartered accountants JW Hinks are pleased to support Stourbridge FC.
Based in Edgbaston, JW Hinks are one of the largest independent firms in the region, providing dedicated audit, taxation and business advisory services to businesses and individuals throughout the West Midlands.
The firm is delighted to announce the link-up with “The Glassboys” who play in the Calor League Southern Premier Division – the third tier of non-league football.
Last season the team finished second in the league, but unfortunately lost in the Premier Division play-off semi-final in front of nearly 1000 people at their War Memorial Athletic Ground in Amblecote.
Two years ago the club reached the second round of the FA Cup, beating League Two side Plymouth Argyle 2-0 in a First Round Replay in front of 2,519 at Amblecote – their highest crowd for 37 years.
In the second round the club hosted League One team Stevenage FC, losing 3-0 in front of 3,067.
Paul Jones, managing partner at JW Hinks, said: “We are delighted to support Stourbridge FC – a club who are defiantly on the rise.
“We all saw through their magnificent cup run a few years ago the potential of the club, so we had no hesitation in agreeing to support the club.
“Although the team cruelly missed promotion last season, everyone is positive that the club will go one better this season.”
