Staff from Birmingham-based chartered accountants JW Hinks have dug out their Christmas jumpers to raise money for local charity.
The firm’s office in Edgbaston was filled with Christmas cheer on Friday (19 December), as 25 members of staff put on their favourite festive knitwear to raise money and awareness for their current charity, Our Place, a community hub based in Sutton Coldfield.
The idea was the brain child of one of the firm’s tax advisors, Lisa Boylan and is the first time the leading accountancy firm have held such an event.
Paul Jones, Managing Partner at JW Hinks, said: “It was so wonderful to see so many members of staff getting involved and putting on their Christmas Jumpers – it really brought some festive cheer to office.
“Our Place is a wonderful charity and provides an important service to the people that come to them. We feel honoured to be supporting them and we are looking forward to doing even more fundraising for them in the new year.”
This is just one of a number of events that JW Hinks is holding this year for the charity.
