Birmingham-based chartered accountants JW Hinks are to help dentists brush up on their tax knowledge at a specialist dentistry show.
The Edgbaston firm are inviting dental practices to submit their details into a special post box at this year’s Dentistry Show in order to receive a specialist year-end tax planning guide.
Accountants at the firm will be on hand to discuss tax planning and other financial services for dentists at their stand at the show which runs from 1-2 March at the NEC.
Robin Barnes, partner at JW Hinks and a member of the National Association of Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL), said: “With the current tax year ending on 5th April 3013, there are a number of ways for dental practices to minimise their tax liabilities.
“That is why the team at JW Hinks are introducing our year-end tax planning checklist, which dentists can complete to ensure they have utilised all the tax reliefs and allowances available.
“All people have to do is visit our stand Q22 at the Dentistry Show, fill in a postcard, and drop it in our box. We will then email the checklist out after the show.”
JW Hinks have many years’ experience working with dentists, and can provide tailored accountancy and taxation services, as well as advice on issues such as acquisitions or disposals, incorporation, specialisation or diversification within a practice, or moving from the NHS to private practice.
As well as members of NASDAL, JW Hinks are members of the Healthcare Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
