The National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants & Lawyers (NASDAL) has warned practices against handing over their affairs to accountants that do not have extensive experience of working with the dental profession.
Indeed, for accountancy firms that are losing their traditional construction and retail clients, the steady income earned by dental practices can offer an attractive new revenue stream, and they are willing to charge lower prices to tempt dentists in.
However, without the in depth knowledge and experience that NASDAL members have built up, accountancy firms new to the market may not provide accurate advice.
As members of NASDAL and the Healthcare Group of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the team at JW Hinks has many years’ experience in working with dental practices and a unique insight into the issues they face.
Consequently, we can make a real difference when dealing with matters such as the NHS pension scheme, dental practice goodwill, associate or performer contracts and incorporation. Please contact us for more information.
